Country Club.

Golf has always been the centerpiece of activity at Metacomet.  In the early days, golfing legends Bobby Jones, Walter Hagen, and Gene Sarazen enjoyed the golf experience on our fairways.  Glenna Collett Vare, 6 time US Women’s Amateur Champion, grew up and learned the game at Metacomet.  Today, Professionals, Brad Faxon and Brett Quigley, play at the Met when not on the Tour.

We are respectful of our former members, maintaining Tournament Winners and Hole-in-One Boards from the 20’and 30’s throughout the Club.  We have a highly competitive tournament schedule designed for golfers of every level.
